First Yarn Along

Eh, feeling left out so I decided to go ahead and succumb to the Yarn Along group.

Very simple today, just working on lots of teensy hats for Calvin's Hats. For my fourth batch I wanted to make them all tiny miscarriage hats because I found out they actually have a waiting list for those. So sad.

As far as reading, I've been doing escapist reading lately so I've gone through Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency and The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul, both by Douglas Adams. Also Left for Dead about one man's experience in the 1979 Fastnet sailing race. Ok, so my tastes aren't for everyone. (c;

What are you reading and doing with yarn?

  2. Those hats are amazing. Thank you for your ministry.

    I haven't read Douglas Adams in years, I should re-read his books.

  3. It is so wonderful that you are making all those hats...so many blessings for people in need of comfort.

    The yarn-along looks like fun (books and yarn--what a lovely combination), but two of the knitting needles I was using to make a pair of socks broke! That might make for a less-than-stellar photograph, ha ha.
