Yarn Along: Some finished items

I finished the first of two sleep sacks for my sister's twins. :) I'm pleased with how it turned out. I've started on the next one and hope it will go quicker this time since I'm not feeling my way along. (I took notes so I could replicate it exactly.)

I'm getting better at side seaming! It's much harder to see now.

I went out on a limb and made a wool soaker that's entirely knit. Partway through I realized I didn't know how to increase! I couldn't believe I'd gotten this far without learning how to increase. Oh well. I'm not very good at it yet, that's for sure.

Has anyone made wool soakers that are wrap style instead of pull-on style? I'm toying with the idea. It might be better for messy diapers.

And one of the many things I've been reading (and rereading) lately:

  1. your knits are really cute! I still need to get that pattern to you that I mentioned the other day...

  2. Yay!!!!!! That's such a sweet little pod for baby boy!!!! Thank you. Your talents amaze me!

  3. Looks wonderful - and twins! So exciting!

  4. I love wrap style woollies for new babies. My favorite pattern is the WHW wrap on ravelry. Here's a link:
