  1. Once all the officials were brought forth, the handsome young prince told them to close their eyes and hold out their riches, and he would let the richest one lead the people. Then he took all the gold from the other officials and gave it to his favorite, who was chosen to lead the people, and they all lived happily ever after. (Shamelessly stolen from a fairy tale, but I can't remember which one.)
